Terms of Service & Use

By creating an account, accessing, or using Convention App, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. Access is strictly restricted to verified healthcare professionals, medical practitioners, and authorized medical society delegates operating under Philippine laws.

To safeguard sensitive medical credentials and portal handoffs, sessions are cryptographically bound to your mobile or web installation UUID.

• You are responsible for maintaining hardware biometric protection (e.g., Face ID, fingerprint unlock) on bound devices.
• One-Time Passkeys (OTP) and passwordless magic tokens must never be shared, forwarded, or compromised.

Convention App provides digital QR verification passes and attendance badges for accredited conventions:

• Non-Transferability: QR codes and attendance passes are personal to the verified account holder and non-transferable under any circumstances.
• CME Credit Integrity: Fraudulent scanning, proxy attendance, or automated manipulation of attendance records for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit accumulation will invalidate all claimed units.

When utilizing Single Sign-On (SSO) handoffs to enter partner medical society applications or external convention webviews, you acknowledge that Convention App acts solely as an authentication gateway. Third-party portals operate under their respective administrative terms and privacy guidelines.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any legal action or dispute arising out of these Terms shall be filed exclusively in the proper courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.
